Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Lynch

Dear Parents,

I am so grateful that I will be teaching your children this year.  Before I started teaching here last year, I was your SMS HSA President, and was substitute teaching at St. Matthias.  I was able to get to know many of you and your wonderful children, and I know each and everyone of them have great potential.  Before serving the HSA, I taught 5th grade in the Warren Township Public School District for 17 years.  Prior to that, I taught 5th-8th grade at Sacred Heart in South Amboy.  I aquired my bachelor's degree from the University of Scranton, and my master's in education with a special education certificate from Georgian Court University.  I also have 30 extra credits from continuing education courses.  I am looking forward to challenging your children and preparing them for their high school years.  6th, 7th, and 8th grade are important years for your child to learn and grow.  Please stay involved as much as you can.  These are critical years in your child's development.  All of us working together will foster a well-rounded catholic identity for them to make a difference in this world.  Thank you again for partnering with me!

Grace and peace,

Mrs. Mary Lynch
