    Mass at noon followed by reception

    Staff members and students are asked to attend.  Students are asked to wear their school uniform.

    Students from Forensics will serve as lectors, Student Council will be greeters and student reps from each grade as designated by you will be part of the Offertory Procession.  Students will carry items for display at the altar that are significant to their lives at SMS.  And, thus a student from each grade will carry…

    Continuing our tradition from past celebrations of Catholic Schools Week, we will have our Academic  and Athletic Bowls.  We are so pleased that Mr. Johnson will be joining us for the event.

    The students will be divided into teams of green and white proudly wearing a shirt the color of their team.  “A” classes will be the green team, while “B” classes will be the white team.  Teachers of kindergarten and grade six will communicate with the students of those single grades specifically what team they are on.  The schedule will be as follows:

    9AM      Athletic Bowl for Grades K-5 in the cafeteria

    Academic Bowl for Grades 6-8 in the church

    1-2PM  Athletic Bowl for Grades 6-8 in the cafeteria

    Academic Bowl for Grades K-2 in John XXIII

    Academic Bowl for Grades 3,4 and 5 in the church


    The gym teacher will identify the teams. Teams will be posted on teacher sites.


    • Put your child's name on EVERYTHING!!!

    Please check the school website for the lunch menu.  Talk to your child about lunch so they know if they are buying lunch or have lunch with them. Also, if your child is going to ASP please have a separate bag marked ASP.


    Pre-K4 does have specials on the following days (TENTATIVE for 2019-2020):

    Sheets and blankets go home on Fridays. Please return them on Monday.

    Dress Code Alert: Don't forget that the sneakers should be non-tie style.

    Please remember our policy regarding illness: when in doubt, keep them out. This is the BEST defense against the spread of germs and illnesses.
