My dear 5th grade boys and girls,

I can’t believe how quickly this year has flown! I can remember your eager and happy faces in September

and how excited you were to be “upstairs” with the big kids! I have enjoyed watching you learn and grow and show just how smart you are!

I loved every hand that went up with intelligent (and sometimes comical) questions, answers, or responses. You have touched me with your willingness to share your faith and your openness in prayer.

You have amazed me with your resilience during this historic time of remote learning. You have sifted through the challenges of learning outside of the classroom and have showed integrity in continuing to work to your very best ability.

To say that I will miss you is an understatement, but I also can’t wait to see you in the hall next year as a “middle schooler” ready to take on the world!

Know that you are treasured and that I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

    Your grateful 5B teacher,

    Mrs. Chorazak

"I thank my God upon every remembrance of you." Philippians 1:3

    A note from Mrs. Lanzalotto:
Check out Mrs. Lanzalotto's website for Summer Reading suggestions from School Library Journal presenting their top picks for summer reading, from read-alouds to share with the youngest prereaders to engrossing titles for tweens and teens. The majority of the titles have been published over the last two years, almost all of them are available as ebooks, and many of them have received starred reviews or been selected as past Best Books. New lists will publish every week during the month of June, with additional lists in July and August.
