    Happy Spring!

With the arrival of the warm weather, our students are now invited to wear their Spring uniforms (khaki shorts with the regular uniform and green gym shorts on Thursday's gym day)

We strive to engage each student spiritually and academically in a Christ-centered environment, to prepare them to live as disciples and citizens.

SMS is going green! Our schoolwide theme for 2017-2018 is based upon Pope Francis' Laudato Si which is about Caring For Each Other and Our Earth.
Throughout the school year, SMS will be participating in even more Reduce, Reuse and Recycle projects and community service projects than we usually do.  Get ready to be Earthkeepers as we protect our planet and care for our fellow students!

SMS saves the following: Please place the items in an envelope or a baggy and have your child give them to us.  Thanks!
    • Box Tops for Education - cut them out and send them to school
    • Campbell's Soup labels - cut them out and send them to school
    • Tab tops from aluminum/metal drink cans, soup cans, etc. to benefit Ronald McDonald House

***We are pleased to have Mrs. Jeanne Miller, Resource Teacher, come to KB once a week to offer extra help and reinforcement in Language Arts skills.  She will take small groups of children to her classroom to review and support the Language Arts activities we are doing in class.  Once her groups are established, parents of those children will be advised.***
