The Diocese of Metuchen requires that all adults who volunteer in any way must undergo a fingerprint screening and attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children for Adults seminar.  This includes coaches, class parents, class trip chaperones, as well as anyone who volunteers in school in any capacity.

PLEASE NOTE:  This form is only for volunteers, not employees.

Once you have completed the Virtus seminar, please send a copy of your certificate to the parish office (c/o of Trish Stumper) where it will be kept on file.

When fingerprinting is completed, provide a copy of the form with the receipt to Mrs. Trish Stumper at the parish office, for reimbursement of its cost.

    Volunteer Opportunities

Assist and supervise children in cafeteria, 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. or monitor the play of children in the school yard, 11:45 a.m. -1:15 p.m.

Lunchtime volunteers are asked to assist at all three lunches on a scheduled day.  We do not encourage ‘drop-ins.’

Assist librarian in checking-out, checking-in books for students.  Be responsible for the good order of a section of library books.  (This does not include student instruction)

One-half day a week – morning or afternoon

Assist computer teacher in computer lab during class times.  (Minimal computer competency is needed.  Sorry, but pre-school children accompanying mom is not a good idea here.)

One-half day a week – morning or afternoon

Please do not complete the volunteer form if you do not have your clearances on file here at school.  The sign-up sheets will be available for download on the school website and can be completed at any time during the school year once your clearances are completed.  You can be added to our schedules at that time.
