“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”

     – Eckhart Tolle

    Dear St. Matthias School Community,

In so many respects, the year 2020 has been a disappointment, a hardship for many, a tragedy for some, and filled with upheaval for others. As we look back on what has been, it is easy to miss the blessings and gifts this year has given us. There was good this year and it should be acknowledged.  We should turn to God in humble gratitude for so many things. We had the opportunity to grow closer to our families as we were placed in quarantine.  We learned the simple pleasures of being home. We found time that we thought we had lost to pursue hobbies, leisure activities, and most importantly to strengthen our relationship with God in prayer and contemplation. MORE
