    Mrs. Jennings' Homework:  On the calendar below, select the current month and click "Show Month".  You may then look under the current date to find the most recent homework and miscellaneous notes. In case of absence, you may also view homework assignments from previous days and months.     Thursday, 10/17

    • Friday is a 12:30 Dismissal Day with ASP. All students may bring a snack and small drink. Students going to ASP may bring 2 snacks and a lunch. Please make sure your child knows how he/she is going home on this half day.
    • If your child needs to visit the Book Fair tomorrow, I am happy to send him/her.

    Wednesday, 10/16

    Tuesday, 10/15

    • Social Studies Writing: Amazing Landmark of the Northeastern Region writing paper and illustration due Monday, 10/21. Pick a landmark from one of the 11 states in the northeastern region. With a parent's help, you may use the internet to help with your search. Use books or the internet to research information about your chosen landmark (natural or man-made). Take notes while you are looking up info. Turn your notes into an informative paragraph (minimum of 7 sentences with a topic sentence being one of them). Use your own words. Do not plagiarize! Proofread your work. Then, paste a large enough picture of your landmark into the "picture box" or use your own drawing skills. Remember to add details! Your final product should be neat and informative. It will count as a Social Studies and Writing assessment. I will not assign any other homework this week so that you may focus on this. Due to MAP testing, 4A has not received the information for this assignment as of yet. They will learn about it tomorrow. 4A students will have until 10/22 to turn in their assignment.

    • Current Events due 9/30 (Directions are one on side, and the form is on the other. Please remember to attach your article to the form so that you don't lose any points. You may turn your Current Events in on 9/30 or earlier, depending on when you get it done.)
    • Band Form (We're Interested) is due back tomorrow (Wednesday, 9/11). If you turn this form in, it means that your child can try out an instrument next week. Following the "try out" session, enrollment information will be sent home. If you have questions about the band program, Mr. Mallinson will be available next Tuesday (9/17) at 2:30 P.M. in the Parish Meeting Room. You can get all the information you need at that time. It is a meeting for parents, but parents are permitted to bring their children.
