Welcome back from Easter break!  Mrs. Rezac misses all her 1A students and your beautiful smiles that you bring to my class each week!

This week we will be starting some keyboarding practice to refresh and keep our typing skills strong as we get ready for 2nd grade computer class.  Some things to remember when you are typing on the computer are good posture at the keyboard and remember to use all 10 fingers on the keyboard.

    • Go to https://st-matthias.typingclub.com
    • On the "Typing Club" homepage type in your user name (the first letter of your first name and last name together) (For example, my login would be krezac for Kathy Rezac)
    • Next, have your parents send me an email me at krezac@stmatthiasnj.org so I can give them your password.  Some of you may remember your password for "Typing Club" or have it written down from earlier this school year.
    • Once you have logged into your account, practice your typing for 30 minutes.  You can work on as many lessons as you are able to in that timeframe.
    • Please start on the lesson where you left off the last time we were in the "Typing Club" website.  Some students will be working in the "Typing Basics" section while other students who have completed all the lessons in "Typing Basics" will be working in the "Dvorak" section.  If you're not sure where you stopped working earlier this school year in "Typing Club", please have your parents send me an email so I can let them know where you should begin working.
