but school is in session on our remote learning platform: Google Classroom!Remote Learning began in our "Virtual Classroom" on Monday, March 16.In our SMS classroom prior to dismissal, students received instructionson the responsibilities and expectations of both teacher & student.We had also been practicing in class and we are ready!Parents received an email from me detailing our Remote Learning Plan at SMS for ELA 6th/7th grade so they will also know what to expect as we begin this journey.Weekly email updates may be expected by familiesas we continue to build our Remote Learning into one of the finest in the state!In a nutshell:Students should expect their daily Reading, Writing and Vocab lessons and assignments to be postedin our ELA classroom each morning by 9am.Students will be able to ask questions using Google commentsso that we may dialogue about the lessons.All assignments are to be submitted via Google Classroomby 6pm on their due date to be assessed by the teacher.** Announcement **
