Third Grade Pianist
On February 14, 2010, 3rd grader Kyla A. together with a partner,  were given an Honorable Mention Award for the One Piano Ensemble category at the Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey (YPCNJ) final competition held at Steinway Hall, New York.  Kyla played the Primero part from an ensemble of Moderato, Op. 87, #44 by Heinrich Wolfart (1754-1755).  Kyla will be performing at the Piano Teachers Congress of New York, Inc. Ensemble Program on March 7, 2010, at Greenwich House Music School, New York, NY. Congratulations Kyla !  

11 Year Old Champs
On Sunday November 15, 2009, Members of St. Matthias won the Cerbo National Baseball League 2009 Fall NJ Championship in the 11 year old division. Members of the team include:

Budding Artist
On October 11, 2009, 4th grader Skyllar C. and other promising artists were honored at the Zimmerli Art Museum of Rutgers University.  Her interesting charcoal illustration of a dinosaur, as well as other arts and crafts of those who attended the 2009 Summer Art Camp is currently on display at the Adi Blum Learning Center until the end of this semester.  Artworks for this exhibit were chosen for their superior quality and creativity.  Congratulations, Skyllar, for your contribution to this distinguished exhibition! We look forward to seeing more in the future!
