Saint Matthias School’s
Annual Development Fund
The Saint Matthias School has a proud history of excellence. As a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School, teachers, staff, parents and the entire parish community all join to provide for the spiritual, emotional, academic and physical development of each child.
In order to ensure the ongoing success of SMS and the needs of our students and faculty, we must continually improve our programs, educational resources and facilities. Therefore, St. Matthias has begun the SMS Annual Development Fund. This fund will provide an opportunity to everyone involved in the Catholic Community at Saint Matthias to invest in our school’s vision for the future.
The money raised will be used to offset costs not included in the school’s operating budget as well as ultimately holding down the cost of tuition. Such projects may include new science equipment, technology improvements, teacher enrichment, and need-based student scholarships.
Soon, parent volunteers and staff will contact all SMS families and friends to seek financial support. Tax-deductible pledges will be payable by June 30, and all donors will be recognized in the School’s Annual Report. Any gift, regardless of size, will be greatly appreciated.
Saint Matthias places great value on each of the three components of the “giving trinity” … time, talent and treasure. Giving to the SMS Annual Development Fund will help us all sustain a strong and active school community centered in excellence and guided by the presence of Christ.
