Homework Page for January 6, 2009
Greetings from 1B! 1. Math - Green math pg. 73. Students should begin learning and memorizing addition and subtraction facts. 2. Reading - Mrs. Miller's Reading Class only has a Reading Paper (both sides). Mrs. Jennings' Reading Class only has Practice Book pg. 98. January Reading Logs were sent home. The January Pizza Hut Book-Its will go home some time this week. Our next reading and spelling tests will be on Friday, 1/9/09. 3. Grammar - 4. Spelling - Spelling words for the week of 1/5/09 are: drop, dress, class, clap, track, trip, any, grow, new, old. Spelling test 1/9. 5. Religion - 6. Handwriting - 7. Four Square - 8. Social Studies - Social Studies test on Tuesday, 1/13. A study guide was sent home. 9. Science - We are learning about animals. 10. Spanish - 11. Computer - 12. Extra Info: Music on Wednesday. 13. Good News of the Day - Frank shared with us that his mom got a new cell phone. Elyssa shared with us that she is going to the Philippines in 2010. Bianca shared with us that she and her brother have an MP3 player. First Grade will have gym on Thursday of this week instead of Friday. If you happen to catch a good sale on tissues or paper towels, 1B is in need. Thank you so much. Wednesday, January 14th, is a 12:30 dismissal day. Students should bring a snack from home. ASP students should bring 2 snacks as well as a lunch. Button Design Contest! All students may participate if they'd like. All entries are due no later than Jan. 9th. See the SMS web site for more details. Fuddrucker's Fundraiser is scheduled for 1/14 from 1 to 9 p.m. First Grade will go to Mass on the third Thursday of every month. Save Your Tab Tops! SMS will be collecting them again this year.! |
